Lleida.net (BME: LLN) to advise 225 corporate exe

Madrid, 1 October. - Main management representatives of Lleida.net (BME: LLN) met over in South Asia last week with 225 corporate executives of public and private Indian companies to help them highlight the main technological changes necessary to obtain the consent of EU citizens in their electronic transactions.

In two conferences held in New Delhi and Ahmedabad, the company explained to a large group of Indian executives the best way to adapt to the new European regulation on data protection. 

On Saturday 29, the company explained 150 people in the Chamber of Commerce of Ahmedabad, a major export node of the country, what the implications of such new regulation are.

The event was chaired by S.J. Haider, Minister of Tourism, Trade and Industry of the Regional Government of Gujarat, whose capital is Ahmedabad.

Furthermore, on Thursday 27, in a conference organized by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Lleida.net tackled in New Delhi before 75 managers how their technological solutions will help to comply with the European legal requirements and how foreign companies can strengthened market positions in the European market, in which it will be increasingly necessary to implement efficient certification and electronic notification services.

In New Delhi, Anup Wadhawan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of India, sent a very sensitive message about the need to comply with the GDPR and to establish Indian privacy legislation via bilateral agreements between India and the EU.

Shri Sudhanshu Pandai, Deputy Secretary of State for Trade and Sangeeta Godbole, General Director of the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), were also present.

"India has a great business and economic potential so the trust placed in Lleida.net by the authorities of the country to advise their companies in RGPD represents a strong impetus for us”, emphasized Sisco Sapena, CEO of Lleida.net, which is listed on the Spanish Alternative Stock Market.

Last August, the technology company, which is listed on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB), already run a similar event in Bombay.

The company continues to guide Indian companies doing business in Europe on the implications of the new General Data Protection Regulation, after being selected for it by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC).

The SEPC has 3,000 members, distributed among 14 productive sectors of the country, and is the main link between international companies and service providers in India.
