The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf gra

nts Lleida.net (BME: LLN) its third patent, thus consolidating its position in the region

Madrid 3 October .- The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) grants Lleida.net (BME:LLN) a new patent for its electronic contracting method.

The patent, which has been named "Method for producing electronic contracts certified by a user of a telecommunications operator", has been approved under file number GC2015-28810, will be in force during 20 years.

The method allows notification through text messages or email, generating a certificate with legal validity that can be presented as evidence in court to prove the sending, the contentand delivery of information.

The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf was established in 1981.It conducts the region in terms of economic and financial action, as well as scientific and industrial,of six countries in the area: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Arabia Saudi and the United Arab Emirates.

To date, this regional organization has granted Lleida.net, which is listed on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB) since 2015, two more patents.

Lleida.net patents are a critical part of its international expansion strategy and penetration in the digital contracting market (E-Signature ) that some studies consider to be worth 9,000million dollars in the next five years, six times its current size.

“This third patent certainly represents, the reinforcement of our market position in the area, "he added.

So far, the company has obtained more than 75 patents in terms of methods of certification, contracting and electronic notifications in the major markets including the European Union, United Sates, Japan and the People's Republic of China.

Lleida.net has registered during 2018 an increase in the share price of 52.24 % to 1.02 euros. The current capitalization of the company exceeds 16.3 million euros.
