Beatriz García Torre appointed Executive Director of Lleid

Madrid, February 28.- Beatriz García Torre has been appointed Executive Director of Lleida.net, replacing Emili González, representative of the Institut Català de Finances Capital, who submitted his resignation last week.

García Torre has been, for more than 11 years, Chief Interconnection Officer, responsible for linking with more than 1,000 telecommunications companies worldwide.

Previously, she had held positions in Deloitte and Orange Spain. She is a Telecom Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. 

"I am very happy that the Board of Directors of Lleida.net has accepted the appointment of Beatriz, an outstanding professional,  to serve as Executive Director," said Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of the company.

Together with Beatriz García Torre, the company's financial director, Arrate Usandizaga, is the Executive Director.

The appointment must be ratified at the next General Meeting of Shareholders.

In a communication to the market, the company thanked "the work done by Mr. Emili Gómez during the years he has worked on the board and has contributed to the improvement and consolidation of the company."
