Four EU countries to grant Lleida.net 6 patents on enotific

ation and econtracting

Madrid, July 27.- The listed technological services company Lleida.net (BME: LLN; EPA: ALLLN) has been granted  six new patents on electronic notification and contracting by four European countries: Czech Republic, Latvia, Serbia and Turkey.

Firstly, the Czech Republic and Latvia have adopted the corresponding national patents for the Method for the registration and certification of receipt of electronic mail created by Lleida.net.

Similarly, the Method for certifying an electronic mail comprising a trusted digital signature by a telecommunications' operator   has been adopted by the authorities of the Czech Republic, Latvia, Serbia and Turkey.

Unlike other existing models in the market,  Lleida.net method allows the sending of digitally signed registered email with a qualified signature without breaking that signature at the time of the certification.  The system generates a documentary evidence, that can be submitted to courts and public administrations to prove the sending, content, delivery, and non-tampering of the information.

All these patents derive  from two European patents that were granted to Lleida.net by the European Patent and Trademark Office in 2019.


These patents, granted for  20 years, will represent benefits for the company of about20 million euros throughout this period.

After years of reinforcing its commitment to intellectual property and internationalization, the company already has a portfolio of 182 patents on digital notification and contracting methods, granted by over  50 countries on five continents, including the United States. , the European Union, China, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Australia or New Zealand.

Lleida.net's methods are recognized as valid to certify legal notifications in contracting processes by the authorities of some 70 countries.

The patent portfolio of the company whose titles are exchanged on the Madrid Stock Exchange and Euronext Growth in Paris is already one of the broadest in the eSignature industry worldwide.

So far this year, Lleida.net shares have appreciated significantly, and it is one of the stocks that has risen the most both on the Spanish stock market and on the pan-European stock exchange.

The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in early 2020.
