Lleida.net to sign an interconnection agreement in the Midd

le East , reaching 148 million subscribers

Madrid, 3 February.- The Spanish dual listed company Lleida.net (BME: LLN; EURONEXT: ALLLN)  announced today  the signing of a new bilateral direct interconnection and SMS transit agreement with Etisalat, a Middle Eastern telecommunications company operating in 16 countries and with 148 million customers.

Emirates Telecommunication Group Company PJSC, branded trade name Etisalat is listed on the Abu Dhabi stock market in the UAE and with current market cap of  $40.0billion. It provides innovative solutions and services to over 148 million subscribers in 16 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

With this agreement, Lleida.net customers and those of Etisalat will have the possibility of communicating with each other directly and will benefit from the SMS connection and transit services to other operators offered by both companies.

Lleida.net, a dual listed company in the Alternative Investment Market Madrid and Euronext Growth Paris, has been granted three patents in technological certification communication by the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates)

“The Middle East is, for years now, one of our main focus of international development. The significant boost of communications in the region justifies our commitment to a greater presence in the region, “said Sisco Sapena, founder and CEO of the company.

The commitment to internationalization in the Middle East led Lleida.net, last September, to launch a new “Digital Courier” service, with a development agreement with the Indian company The Professional Couriers, that employs a workforce of 125,000 employees.

1,500 interconnection agreements worldwide

Lleida.net operates with subsidiaries in 19 countries around the world, and has signed connectivity agreements with more than 1500 companies worldwide, providing service to  customers in more than 150 countries.

Last September, Lleida.net signed two  interconnection agreements with China Mobile and China Telecom, thus giving access  to  more than 1 billion Chinese customers.

The Spanish company already has over 100 patents for its innovations in the field of certified electronic communications and its services are legally considered as evidence in over 70 countries.

Lleida.net celebrated its 25th anniversary on the Stock Market last Friday

Last Friday, the company rang the Bolsa de Madrid bell to celebrate its  25 years of life.

Last week, on 16 January the shares of Lleida.net in MAB peaked at an all-time high at 1.56 euros a share.

Lleida.net assets have revalued 38% so far this year in Madrid, and its capitalization already reaches 22.15 million euros.

The company recorded an increase in its EBITDA of 32 % during 2019, reaching 2.22 million euros, in its best results since it was listed on the MAB, in mid-2015

The company has already accumulated 15 quarters with positive EBIDTA.
