Lleida.net is granted a new patent for its method for reg

istered email in Spain

Madrid, August 10th - Lleida.net technology services company (BME:LLN; EPA:ALLLN) has received a new Spanish patent for its Method for registering and certifying the reception of Electronic Mail.

This patent, which derives from the European patent that was granted to Lleida.net by the European Patent and Trademark Office in 2019, is the third that the company receives by the Spanish authorities.

The patents have been granted for a period of 20 years.

"This new patent shows that Lleida.net's commitment to intellectual property has made the company one of the most recognized in the industry worldwide, and that will undoubtedly continue to bring value to our shareholders and customers," explained Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of the company.

As a consequence of its strategic decision to increase its intellectual property and internationalization efforts, the company already has a portfolio of 183 patents on electronic notification and contracting methods. 

Currently, more than 50 countries, including the United States, the European Union, China, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Australia and New Zealand, have recognized Lleida.net's eSignature methods with new patents.

The company's patent portfolio, whose securities are traded on the Madrid Stock Exchange and Euronext Growth in Paris, is already one of the largest in the industry.

Lleida.net's technology is recognized as a valid way to certify notification and contracting processes by the authorities of over 70 countries.

The company that celebrated its 25th anniversary at the beginning of 2020, registered last week a new historical maximum, when its price reached 5.15 euros per share, an increase in value of almost 400%.

The stock market cap of the company exceeds 78 million euros.

The company recently announced its intention to be listed in New York, specifically in the OTCQX segment of OTC Markets.
