New Zealand grants Lleida.net a new patent

Madrid, 2  December  The Spanish technology services company Lleida.net has been granted a new patent, by the intellectual property authorities of New Zealand.

The patent refers to the company's method for producing electronic contracts certified by a telecommunications operator.

This is the fourth patent granted to the Spanish listed company in New Zealand.

" From the USA to the EU and Oceania, more than 60 countries recognise the work the company is performing in R&D", explained Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of Lleida.net.
Currently, the company has one of the most important portfolios worldwide in the registered e-signature, e-notification and e-contracting industry.

So far, it has been granted 208 patents by 63 countries across five continents. The company went public on BME Growth (the former MAB) in 2015. In 2018, the company was listed on Euronext Growth in Paris. At the end of 2020, it was accepted for listing on the OTCQX Best Market segment in New York.

Earlier this week, its general meeting of shareholders approved by a large majority the purchase of the technology company inDenova for 7.1 million euros.
