Lleida.net unveils Platform4Equity the new investor vehicle

- Lleida.net is sponsoring the very first FinTech Unconference (#uFinTech) in Spain where major leaders from the Fintech space will gather in Madrid.
Madrid, 19 January 2016. Lleida.net, the company devoted to electronic certification services, has launched Platform4Equity, a new initiative to attract companies offering tech services to the financial sector (Fintech) to make use of the network in their business and in turn having the need to certify or to contract digital services.
Under the first Fintech Unconference, hold last Tuesday in Madrid, Sisco Sapena, founder and CEO of Lleida.net has presented the project to the major companies in the industry. The goal is to partner with companies, mainly start-ups, to become its technical platform provider and to offer contracting and certification services to those companies using their services in exchange for shares in the company.
The launch of Platform4Equity is part of Lleida.net internationalization strategy and R&D projects. The initiative mirrors Media for equity concept, an alternative investment model where the companies receive advertising space instead of cash for their stock, for example Zalando, Wallapop.
