Lleida.net reports 1Q 2018 numbers in an upward trend

Barcelona, April 11, 2018.- Lleida.net, the leading company in the field of certification and electronic notification, has obtained a pre-tax profit of 95,000 euros during the first quarter of the year, consolidating the positive trend from 2017 thus entailing closing fiscal year with benefits. Specifically, the company has boosted its result by 498%compared to the previous year. Likewise, it has improved its sales by 40%, to 3.1 million euros in the first quarter of 2018.

The good progress of the activity of Lleida.net has been translated into a cash generation of 202,000 euros compared to 43,000 euros in the same period of the previous year. These funds will allow the company to enhance and strengthen organic growth, to move forward internationalization and to analyse alternative ways of inorganic growth. The company's gross margin increased by 18% to 1.5 million euros, while the gross operating result maintained the upward trend of previous quarters to reach 390,000 euros, 48% higher.

As per improvement of profitability, Lleida.net commitment to commercial, technical and human development during the last year has become a paramount concern.

Sisco Sapena, CEO of Lleida.net, states that the results obtained up to March "demonstrate the strength of Lleida.net's business project, based on innovation and globalization in key markets. We remain optimistic about the evolution of the company during this year, in which we will consolidate the positive figures recorded in 2017 and that constitute the best basis to our main business lines ".

Lleida.net has improved large accounts acquisition during the period,  consolidating itself as the first registered operator in Spain and as a strategic provider of reliable communications. In this regard, the growth of Wholesale sales (SMS wholesaler) increases by 100% to 1.6 million euros. Lleida.net is a leading company in the quality and flexibility of its services. Likewise, the activities of SaaS (Software as a Service), which includes registered electronic communications and data validation, grew by 18%.

The company continues to make progress on reducing its financial indebtedness. Currently, the group's debt stands at 3.9 million euros, compared to 4.4 million in the first quarter of 2017. With a liquidity position of 1.7 million euros, the net indebtedness of Lleida. net is 2.3 million euros by the end of the first quarter of 2018.

Particularly noteworthy during this quarter is the development of a platform to obtain the explicit consent of users in an easy and fast way to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation, which will come into force next May. Moreover, the group released during the past Mobile World Congress major innovations introduced in its eKYC products (platform for identity validation by videoconference).
