Lleida.net (BME: LLN; EURONEXT: ALLN) to sign two interconn

Madrid, 19 September.- Over one billion Chinese customers will access Lleida.net interconnection network thanks to two agreements signed between the Spanish technology company, China Mobile and China Telecom operators. 

Thanks to this agreement, signed on 30 and 21 August respectively, users and customers of Lleida.net will have direct access to the users of China Mobile and China Telecom and in turn the users of China Mobile and China Telecom will benefit from the interconnection and transit network provided by Lleida.net.

This agreement will strengthen Lleida.net network in Asia, thus giving connectivity to all those that are directly interconnected with them. 

Additionally, both Chinese operators will also use Lleida.net so that their customers will be able to send to different countries, including Spain.

“With this agreement we add over one billion subscribers to our direct interconnection network we give transit to third parties and thus we strengthen our network in Asia. It is a great milestone for us and will represent benefits to our customers and shareholders in the near future, ” says Sisco Sapena, CEO of Lleida.net.

Since 2017, Lleida.net has been granted three patents in technological certification services by the Chinese authorities. 

In particular, it holds Registered mail, Registered SMS and Registered email inbox patents in China.  

In 1995, Lleida.net became the first Spanish to quote on a dual basis in the MAB and in Euronext Growth, in Paris. 

Likewise, during 2018, it became the first and the sole Spanish provider , sixth at the European level to obtain the type approval of qualified electronic registered delivery service as stated by the EIDAS regulation. This type-approval means that it can be used at European level without national limitation, and their certifications should be admitted by default by European courts and public administration as due proof

During the 2Q 2019, Lleida.net registered  a net income of 3.22 million euros, 3% more than in the same period of the previous year.

In the first six months of this 2019, it registered a gross margin of 1.68 million, 15% above that the one recorded during the same period of the previous year and the Ebitda remained stable at about 535,000 euros, which means that the company has already accumulated 12 quarters with positive Ebitda

At the close of the market, the shares in Paris were sold at 0.78 euros, and in  Madrid at 0.905 euros.
